FYJC is the first year of junior college and an important academic step after Class X. At Aeren Junior College, students can choose a pathway aligned with their interests, subject strengths, and future higher education goals.
The Science stream is designed for students who wish to build a strong foundation in scientific concepts, logical thinking, and analytical learning.
The Commerce stream supports students interested in accounting, economics, business studies, finance, management, and commerce-related higher education pathways.
Admission to FYJC is open for students who have successfully completed Class X from a recognised board.
Students who have successfully passed the SSC examination or equivalent Class X examination from any recognised board are eligible for FYJC admission.
Students from boards other than the Maharashtra State Board must complete the required eligibility verification process as prescribed by the Maharashtra Board.
Mathematics is compulsory for students choosing the Computer Science programme.
Students can choose from Science and Commerce subject combinations based on the options available under the Junior College curriculum.
