The Equal Opportunity Cell promotes access, awareness, academic support, empowerment, social harmony, and quality enhancement for eligible students.

Ensure equal access to educational opportunities for SC, ST, OBC, and disadvantaged students.

Inclusive Environment

Promote an inclusive, equitable, and discrimination-free academic environment.

Awareness

Facilitate awareness regarding constitutional rights, welfare schemes, scholarships, and benefits.

Academic Growth

Encourage academic excellence, leadership, and holistic growth among students from marginalised communities.

Barrier Removal

Address issues related to social exclusion, discrimination, and educational advancement barriers.

Social Harmony

Promote diversity, mutual respect, harmony, and positive engagement among all stakeholders.

Mentoring

Organise guidance, mentoring, counselling, and capacity-building programmes for beneficiaries.

Quality Enhancement

Support institutional efforts toward social justice, equity, and quality enhancement as per NAAC and UGC guidelines.

Proactive Institutional Support

The College shall provide appropriate support, resources, and administrative assistance to ensure effective implementation of this policy.

Guidance and Counselling

Provide academic guidance, mentoring, counselling, and support services to beneficiaries.

Participation

Encourage participation of disadvantaged students in academic and co-curricular activities.

Address Concerns

Address concerns relating to discrimination, exclusion, or unequal treatment.

Records

Maintain records of activities, participation, outcomes, and support initiatives.

Quality Enhancement

Collaborate with IQAC and recommend measures to improve equity, accessibility, and student support systems.
